10 Embarrassingly Weak Villains Goku Has Faced In Dragon Ball, Ranked

As possibly the strongest mortal in the Dragon Ball franchise, it is interesting to think that Universe 7 Saiyan has had humble beginnings. His opponents, once somewhat difficult for him, now seem irrelevant to even the weakest of the Z Fighters.

Obviously, in hindsight, these earlier threats seem completely irrelevant and weak. While they were threats at the time, most of them seem somewhat weak even an arc later, let alone full iterations of the passing franchise.

Here are ten embarrassingly weak villains that Goku has faced in Dragon BallRanked from highest to lowest:

Mercenary Tao and 9 other weaker Dragon Ball villains Goku has faced

10) Krillin

As the strongest human in Dragon BallKrillin, who manages to stay relevant throughout the Cell Saga, is without a doubt the strongest of Goku’s former opponents. Though not necessarily evil, the two were at odds during the original. Dragon Ball series, but soon after they became the friends they are today.

9) nappa

While not necessarily the weakest of Goku’s former opponents, Nappa was quickly and easily defeated by Earth’s strongest warrior.

In the grand scheme of things, his power and strength are somewhat irrelevant, even by Vegeta only episodes after his own defeat. Overall, he is one of the least impressive enemies in Dragon Ball.

8) Raditz

the weakest of all Dragon Balls Saiyan, Raditz was even seriously injured by an untrained preschool Gohan. While he was strong enough (at the time) to deserve a two-on-one from Goku and Piccolo against himself, he is extremely weak in the story as a whole.

7) Little King

The strongest opponent Goku faces in the original Dragon Ball the series just doesn’t hold up in subsequent iterations of the franchise. It certainly gives the franchise’s protagonist trouble in his debut, but his power becomes irrelevant even by the end of Z first bow.

6) Mercenary Tao

Mercenary Tao proves somewhat of a problem for Goku in all of their fights. In the final battle, the protagonist of the franchise finally achieves victory, but it certainly wasn’t easy. Like many in the original. Dragon Ballhis relevance wanes in later iterations of the franchise, but he was somewhat harsh in his debut.

5) Yamcha

Like Krillin, Yamcha eventually became Goku’s friend, but he was an opponent at first. His powers were still impressive, but still left a lot to be desired. For the moment WITH is on the march with his first bow, he is so weak that his strength is comparable to that of the Saibamen, who are farmable cannon fodder soldiers.

4) tambourine

After climbing the Overlook and receiving training from Korin, Goku is stronger than ever.

He easily defeats King Piccolo’s henchman, fueled by anger and the desire to avenge his dear friend Krillin. Although fast, the fight is undoubtedly incredibly satisfying and solidifies Tambourine as one of the weaker opponents.

3) overall blue

General Blue’s psychic powers were at least interesting and even borderline impressive, but they still proved to be no match for Goku. Eventually, he ends the battle in one blow, slamming the taller Red Ribbon Army into a cave wall and knocking them out.

2) Bandages

Bandages is one of Fortuneteller Baba’s fighters, and although he gives Goku trouble, he is quickly defeated once the latter adjusts to his fighting style. Technically speaking, Goku ends the fight with a single punch, showing how weak Bandages is.

1) Pilaf

Without a doubt, Pilaf is the weakest opponent Goku has faced in the franchise. Even with him and his cronies having advanced mechanical machinery at his disposal, they can’t knock out his childish opponent. The Pilaf gang is without a doubt the weakest group of opponents that Goku has ever faced.
