Dragon Ball has developed such a popular cast of characters that it’s hard for the series to make time for everyone.
A character that has been a fan favorite for years, Legendary Super Saiyan Brolywas correctly introduced into the series canon in Dragon Ball Super: Broly. It seems that Dragon Ball is far from done with this character, which teases some enticing possibilities for the Saiyan’s future and how do you prepare for battle.
9 Instant streaming allows Broly to appear permanently
Dragon Ball Super: Broly presents the Legendary Super Saiyan as an obstacle, but who is manipulated and acts without malice. There are many directions to take this powerful character, but Broli it concludes with the implication that Goku will help Broly refine his skills through training. Broly remains separate from Earth’s heroes, which means it’s not easy for him to randomly show up and lend a hand. This aggressive transformation is triggered by the combination of the Saiyan’s tail and the sight of a full moon (or a close enough approximation) slowly going out of style. The Saiyans now have a myriad of transformations that are stronger and provide greater control than the Great Ape, but it’s always exciting when he returns.
Broly is a strong character who reflects classic Saiyan aggression and ideals. He looks like he could actually do something new with the Great Ape form, or at least be one of the more dangerous examples of one.

Broly has lived a life that has forced him to be extremely reactionary and turn to anger rather than compassion. It’s terrifying to consider how much damage Ultra Ego Broly could do, but he’s one of the few figures in the series besides Vegeta that looks like he could learn this upgrade.
5 Solar Flare is the perfect defense to balance Broly’s amazing strength.
Solar Flare doesn’t always get the attention it deserves, but it’s a great way to surprise the enemy and gain a quick advantage, regardless of their strength. The solar flare releases a brilliant light that blinds everyone within its immediate range. Many humans wield this attack on Dragon Ball, meaning it’s so simple to master that it wouldn’t leave Broly frustrated. Broly is one to resort to offensive maneuvers rather than a defensive strategy, but he could easily pull off a deadly combo that starts with a solar flare.
4 A final flash of Broly is Vegeta’s last backup
Vegeta’s Final Flash has become the proud Saiyan’s signature attack and not something he easily teaches others. What surprises so many Vegeta’s attacks are that they are specific to him. and reflect their individuality as Saiyan royalty. It’s hard to imagine circumstances in which Vegeta would teach Broly his main move, but it’s not impossible.
Broly pulling off a Final Flash would immediately serve as proof that Vegeta fully trusts and supports the Saiyan. It would be the turning point in their relationship and if Broly ever saves Vegeta’s life, it would be a sign worthy of gratitude.
3 The Deadly Destructo Disc is well within Broly’s skill set.
A lot Dragon Balls Energy attacks are similar in style to beam wave projectiles, so something as unique as the Destructo Disc stands out right away. The Destructo Disk is surprisingly dangerous and its sharp edges have sliced some mighty warriors to pieces. Broly’s sheer strength and fists can accomplish a lot, but he would be even more terrifying with the Destructo Disc.
two Fusion could bring forth the ultimate teamwork of Broly and Goku
Interestingly, Broly is such a powerful character that he forced Goku and Vegeta to resort to their fused form, Gogeta, to defend against the Saiyan. Broly is so powerful that he probably struggle to find a suitable merger partner, but it would be hard to argue with how exciting it would be to see Goku and Broly merge to take down a more dangerous foe. Fusion has gotten progressively out of hand in Dragon Ball, but Broly is a fresh enough element in the series for it to work. A fusion of Broly facing Kefla from Universe 6 would be a must.
1 Broly officially becomes a hero after learning the Kamehameha.
Dragon Ball he has his share of powerful and entertaining techniques, but it’s never long before someone yells “Kamehameha” during the height of battle. The Kamehameha is one of Dragon Balls most common and effective attacks. Most of the heroes in Goku’s inner circle know how to perform the Kamehameha and it is likely one of the first things Goku would teach Broly in training. Broly’s control over the Kamehameha would also be a satisfying way to cement his status as one of the good guys. It is very likely that Goku will be the one to teach Broly this technique, but it would be very entertaining to see if Broly masters the technique. maneuver of his father, Master Roshi.
