When it comes to these princeless reunions, Disney doesn’t want any Guest to be confused about whether or not the character is part of the Park experience. Disney also knows that Guests love dressing up as their favorite characters. While Disneybounding (wearing normal clothing that represents specific characters) is completely acceptable, Disney has strict rules when it comes to costumes.

Examples of unacceptable dress include:

  • Clothing displaying offensive messages/language
  • Adult costumes or clothing that could be seen as a costume (children under 10 years of age are excluded)
  • Clothing made with offensive material (i.e. transparent)
  • Excessively torn clothing
  • Clothing that exposes inappropriate body parts, such as bikini tops, thongs, bikini bottoms, etc.
  • Visitors wearing wedding attire are discouraged from entering the theme parks.

All Disney theme park visitors must wear shirts and shoes at all times. Swimsuit tops are permitted when worn with other appropriate clothing.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon have other established criteria that may vary from the general appearance guidelines. Depending on the venue and the event, variations may be accepted.
