For example, they almost got married in Tom King’s 2017 bat Man comic series The suit in comics, animated shows and games does not follow the typical rules of the black suit and has branched out into different colors such as purple, gray and even green. However, her personality remains that of a Gotham City siren who prides herself on getting what she wants, when she wants.

All wore a shiny black ensemble adorned with a gold medallion around the neck, with some versions wearing cat ears. Newmar’s makeup included mustache-like eyebrows, while Meriwether and Kitt wore masks.

This is possibly the most iconic of the Catwoman costumes. Fun fact: Michelle Pfeiffer had to be sealed in the latex suit every time she wore it, and there was a time limit to how long she could keep her suit. The original was constructed from a body cast, and once the suit was donned, the costume team would paint a silicone-based finish to give the suit a shiny exterior. Pfeiffer’s look also came with long claws and her signature red lipstick. However, the Caitlin Christine costume comes with Miss Petunia the cat, and it honestly doesn’t get any better than that.

Catwoman (2004) -Halle Berry

Halle Berry could have received a Razzie Award for her performance in Catwomanbut she still looked good as hell. The Oscar-winning actress wore flared leather pants with claw-mark patterns, long black gloves, and strappy black belts attached to a black leather bra. The costume deviated from the norms of Catwoman’s appearance in the comics, but kept vital elements like the black cat mask, a whip, and essentially dressing entirely in black. More than anything, Berry continually commented on how empowered she felt in her costume, and if that’s not what Catwoman is about, then we need to check our sources.

The dark knight rises (2012) -Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway transformed into Catwoman for The dark knight rises with more technology than ever. His costume came equipped with night vision goggles, a motorcycle, and a more tactical look for the character to fit in with Christopher Nolan’s more modern and gritty Gotham City. Although Hathway didn’t get to use the iconic whip in the movie, cosplayer Taya Miller uses it for her costume rendition, and it’s perfect!

We do not recommend searching for anything related to the announcement of Anne Hathaway playing Catwoman. The amount of misogynistic and disgusting articles written by men about the necessary sex appeal that the character needs is too much sexism for anyone to bear. There’s more than one way to describe a character besides overusing the word “sexy.”

the batman (2022) – Zoë Kravitz

In another messy game of cat and bat, Bruce and Selina team up to take down Gotham’s crime lords in the batman. Now played by Zoe Kravitz, Catwoman has become a sensation among cosplayers and nerds around the world. The public has applauded her version of her character and we totally understand why.

Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravits modeling for Wonderland has to be one of the most exciting photo shoots we’ve ever seen co-stars do to promote a movie, and we’re living for it! Jasminepaigemoore and Caoimhe perfectly recreated the stunning images. And yes, this is important for the buildup of character costumes because…we say so. So don’t disrespect our authority! (This is a joke that we hope you understand).

Finally, the latest version of the Cat is stupendously perfect. Kravitz’s Catwoman embodies all the elements of the previous adaptation rolled into one. The black suit, motorcycle, and claws are elements woven throughout the character’s previous backstory. The leather suit also adds a sense of realism with how he looks lived in and isn’t he perfect and stylish. Other pieces, like the handmade cat mask and functional accessories, like the sturdy backpack he’s carrying, make the costume one of a kind.

The Batman is currently in theaters and will stream on HBO Max on April 19.
