Business Mentor: Tips to Kickstart 2023

The New Year always means new hopes and new beginnings.

The first month of the year should always be initiated with positivity, as it gives you a better vision of what you want to accomplish.

However, let’s make it a habit to start what we set out and keep pushing for results that will show how much we have to accomplish over the past year.

You may have a list of what you would like to accomplish this year; hopefully everything will be ticked off by the end of the year. If you still need to write, let me help you do yours.

Create a three-part plan to achieve your goals: family, work/professional, and personal. This will help you get through each with a more detailed approach.

Write down what comes to mind. We have to organize our thoughts to make sure we get it all. Before we know it, the year is almost over.

So discipline yourself by being more organized in order to take care of the important things.

Tip 1. For the family

When asked why you try so hard at your job or are too busy with the business, the most common response is “it’s for the family.” Indeed, we want to make sure that all our efforts bear fruit so that the family is always taken care of by being able to eat at least three times a day. However, working for the needs of the family should only be a priority. You must also enrich your relationship with each member.

Try to be home on time as often as possible.

Host a family dinner at least once a week.

Spend quality time with your family. It can be spent at home, where you can play games while going on vacation, watching a movie or even driving in the countryside.

Schedule time to talk to everyone to find out how they are doing.

Shape children to be responsible, productive, and God-fearing individuals.

Tip 2. Business expansion through franchising

A large part of our life is devoted to work. It seems tiring. But we cannot give up our livelihoods because we have to survive. However, remember that we are not slaves to our business. Therefore, we must learn to create a work-life balance.

We have already mentioned our goals for the family. With our business, we need to focus on improving ourselves to be more productive and efficient. These will align with your goal of generating a secure and adequate means of income to support the family.

Expanding your business through franchising will establish strong branding and leverage. No business is too small to be a franchise model.

Likewise, conduct your business ethically. Your attitude towards your work says who you are and reflects your business in general. The fact that other entrepreneurs join you as franchise partners will be an added value.

Tip 3. Personal Improvement

All your goals for your family and your business will not be possible if you do not improve. It all starts with having a positive attitude, facing adversity and finding solutions to improve life.

Never neglect your health. Suppose you are the head of the family and the only winner. In this case, you need to establish a discipline that encourages a healthy lifestyle that starts with eating the right foods.

More than the quality and quantity of food, it is necessary to ensure that you eat at the right time. Disrupting your eating habits can significantly affect your overall health.

Don’t think you’re running out of time. Give yourself a break, especially after completing a lot of tasks. Don’t let yourself be isolated. Learn to enjoy your work without being a slave to it.

It is always possible to learn new things. At a time when we can barely keep pace with technology, we need to be aware of these developments to take advantage of what they can offer us personally and for business or career.

Writing down your goals means nothing if you don’t act on them. Life is too short. Please make the most of it by leading a healthy, happy and productive life.
