Gundam OO returns with new spin-off, Chronicle revealed

Director Seiji Mizushima returns to the Gundam franchise for Revealed Chronicle, a new CG anime set between the two seasons of Gundam OO.

A new entry in Gundam series has been announced.

While the show’s producers stated that it is not a “complete anime”, it will tell stories set between the events of the first and second seasons of the 2007 anime series, and feature new mobile suits for Setsuna, Lockon, and the others. Gundam Masters. revealed chronicle is being directed by Seiji Mizushima, who directed the original series and also worked on Neon Genesis Evangelion and full metal alchemist. The announcement did not specify a release date, nor did it indicate whether revealed chronicle it will be distributed as a television series, a network animation or a movie.

The live stream also revealed new Metal Build figures for the recently revealed Gundam Exia and Gundam Dynames redesigns, and showed the first appearance of a new antagonistic mobile suit.

Gundam OO Mobile Suit premiered in 2007 and was the first series in the long-running mecha franchise to be produced in high definition. Set in the war-torn future of the year AD 2307, when fossil fuels have run out and humanity now relies on a vast array of orbiting solar panels for power, the series tells the story of the four Gundam Meisters, a team of young men piloting powerful mobile suits that are generations ahead of any technology previously seen on Earth. The Meisters attempt to create a new era of peace by disabling the world’s military forces, but their armed intervention unleashes an even more destructive conflict that threatens the future of humanity.

The original anime series premiered to low ratings, but has since become one of the most popular offshoots of the larger series. Gundam franchise. The show has been praised for its political themes, memorable cast of characters, and its now-iconic mobile suits, some of which have become the most popular releases in Bandai’s line of Gunpla model kits.
