Majora’s Mask Postman Cosplay offers accuracy and mail

A postman cosplay from The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask perfectly brings Clock Town’s dedicated postman to life. The 2000 installment of the fantasy series is known for its dark story and themes, along with its unique time loop and transformation mechanics. cosplay of Zelda The characters are certainly stock, but one player has decided to completely transform into a rather obscure figure from the franchise’s past.

Serving as successor to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Timethe macabre majora’s mask introduced innovative new mechanics to the series while addressing an overall pessimistic tone. The adventure sees the infamous Skull Kid knock the moon out of its orbit, causing it to crash slowly over the course of three days. This forces the player to repeatedly use the Song of Time to return to the beginning of the three-day cycle, gradually collecting masks that can prevent the apocalypse. Fan-made tributes, like a cosplay of the Happy Mask Salesman, demonstrate the impact left by Nintendo’s creepy title and its cast of bizarre supporting characters.

The postman is one of the most memorable characters in The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, and Reddit user PokuriMio recently recreated the lightning-fast figure. The postman delivers the mail everywhere Majora’s Mask’s Clock Town, refusing to leave his post even when the moon falls on the third day. PokuriMio perfectly reflects the character’s signature wardrobe, complete with his sandals and his iconic hat. The dedicated cosplayer even went the extra mile by turning the postman’s face into a mask, making the image completely perfect.

Cosplay is a popular way to pay homage to the The legend of Zelda series, but a creative fan recently made a majora’s mask Skull Kid cake honoring the haunting Nintendo 64 classic. The mischievously violent Skull Kid is corrupted by the power of Majora’s Mask, leading him to perform a dark ritual that dooms the world. However, the cake version of the antagonist, made by a fan, is much sweeter. The awesome desert even includes glowing sugar eyes and an edible mask, and the smoke completes the effect making it look like Skull Kid is casually hovering above the ground.


Majora’s Mask’s The postman is relentless in delivering the mail and PokuriMio has shown a similar dedication to cosplay authenticity. The joyless runner’s entire attire is perfectly recreated, and his unusual visage is even captured through the use of a lifeless mask. The cosplay is a bit creepy, but that just makes it an even more perfect tribute to The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.
