Yu-Gi-Oh! A new manga series will debut this April.

Yu-Gi-Oh! confirms that a new manga series that delves into the lore and origins of OCG monsters will begin serialization this April.

Yu-Gi-Oh! revealed the launch of a new manga series.

As confirmed by the official website of Shueisha’s V Jump magazine, a new manga series set in the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe will begin serialization on April 21 in the June issue of the magazine. However, unlike most other manga spin-offs from the franchise, the upcoming series will not focus on people who play the Official Card Game (OCG). Instead, it will revolve around the same Duel Monsters that appear in the OCG by exploring the lore and origins written on their cards.

The chapters of the new manga will be released together with the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG structures manga, which teaches readers how to play OCG and provides helpful tips for building a strong and balanced deck. Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG structures also displays the newest cards available for purchase with the latest Booster or Structure Deck that was released at the time of the chapter’s release. It is currently the only one in progress Yu-Gi-Oh! manga series, with its serialization beginning in June 2019.


Since Kazuki Takahashi’s original manga began serialization at Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1996, Yu-Gi-Oh! It has become one of the biggest media franchises in history. In a world where a fictional trading card game known as “Duel Monsters” is often used to settle scores and take names, the original Yu-Gi-Oh! The manga follows Yugi Muto, a 16-year-old boy who is often bullied for his soft personality and short stature. Yugi soon finds himself on a grand adventure as he solves the mystical Millennium Puzzle and befriends the ancient spirit of the Egyptian pharaoh trapped within him. Determined to unravel the mysteries surrounding the Pharaoh’s past and origins, Yugi and his friends battle skilled duelists and ruthless enemies bent on destroying the world through the dark magic of the Shadow Realm harnessed by their own Millennium Elements.


The OCG based on the fictional Duel Monsters is by far the most famous product to spawn from the original. Yu-Gi-Oh! manga As of January 2021, around 35 billion cards have been sold worldwide, with an estimated gross sales revenue of $9.64 billion. Most recently, the franchise released the immensely popular video game Yu-Gi-Oh! master duel for multiple platforms on January 19. Konami announced that the free simulator that allows players to collect cards and create decks to duel with others online has been downloaded more than 10 million times.

The first chapter of the next Yu-Gi-Oh! The manga series will launch in Japanese on April 21. The last Yu-Gi-Oh! anime Series, Yu-Gi-Oh! Go fast!will begin airing on April 3.
