Falcom has been making money from the Yes brand for years. They have created a fantasy anime based on it, and have even made quite a few remakes to attract new fans. Ys IX: Monstrum Nox it is another new game but it has the accessibility for new fans. Although Adol is already a legendary adventurer, isekai fans will find much to love in this game. The character goes to a place called Prison Island and gains special Monstrum powers that make him one of the few people capable of fighting the threats on that island.

The game also has dating elements, making all the women fall in love with Rean.
