The show quickly fit that description, as the number of fans who tried to watch the first episode of The Final Season – Part 2 on its premiere date were enough to briefly take anime streaming service Crunchyroll offline, as the company’s servers were overwhelmed by the massive influx of viewers.
In addition to Crunchyroll, the simulcast of the series is also available on Hulu and Funimation. The English dub of The Final Season – Part 2 is scheduled to make its streaming premiere on Funimation’s own streaming service and Crunchyroll on February 13. The show will also air on Adult Swim’s Toonami block, starting February 12.
