Sound Hashira’s three demon-slaying wives come to life in a new set of cosplay photos from a cosplayer.

Thalía, content creator and artist, dressed up Tengen Uzui’s three wives on Instagram. According to one of the photo descriptions, the costumes are “closet cosplay,” meaning they were created with pieces that were already in Thalia’s wardrobe and costume collection. Despite that, the cosplayer managed to create three impressively accurate renderings of Sound Hashira’s beloved family. In his post for the trio’s final member, Suma, the cosplayer triumphantly wrote, “I finally achieved the holy Waifu Triforce!”

The demon-slaying trio of kunoichi (female ninja) can be seen in action during the currently ongoing second season of Murderer of demons, where they help her husband during the Entertainment District arc of the series. The personalities of the three wives are meant to be a mirror image of the show’s central trio of swordsmen, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke. The latest arc of the show premiered in early December, following a seven-episode retelling of the events of the 2020 film, mugen train. The story picks up several months after Flame Hashira’s climactic battle with the demon Akaza, and sees Tanjiro and his friends teaming up with Sound Hashira to stop a powerful demon who has been using the red light district to cover his operations within a crowded city.
Murderer of demons was created by Koyoharu Gotouge in 2016. The series is one of the best-selling manga of all time, with over 150 million copies in circulation worldwide. The manga published its last chapter in late 2020, but despite that it managed to become the second best-selling manga in Japan for 2021, behind only Gege Akutami. jujutsu kaisen. An anime adaptation, produced by the Ufotable studio, premiered in 2019. The first film in the series, mugen train, earned over $500 million USD during its original theatrical run and is the highest-grossing anime film of all time. The anime series is now streaming its second season, which is being simulcast via Crunchyroll and Funimation.
