The new look at the character comes from Chilean cosplayer and professional makeup artist and hairstylist Fran Martinez. Fans are probably already aware that Sasha will not be appearing in the anime series’ final run of episodes, titled Attack on Titan: The Final Season – Part 2 which premiered in Japan and on international streaming services on January 9, so the new cosplay and art serve as a good way to remember the fan-favorite character. The series’ final half-season will adapt the last remaining chapters of Hajime Isayama’s original manga, which came to a controversial end in early 2021. While the manga’s ending divided the fanbase, the anime adaptation of that story follows. remaining as popular as ever, with a market research firm naming the series the “most requested show of 2021”. The show quickly fit that description, as the number of fans who tried to watch the first episode of The Final Season – Part 2 on its premiere date were enough to briefly take anime streaming service Crunchyroll offline, as the company’s servers were overwhelmed by the massive influx of viewers.

In addition to Crunchyroll, the simulcast of the series is also available on Hulu and Funimation. The English dub of The Final Season – Part 2 is scheduled to make its streaming premiere on Funimation’s own streaming service and Crunchyroll on February 13. The show will also air on Adult Swim’s Toonami block, starting February 12.
