Genshin Impact Cosplayer’s Huge Ruin Guard Suit Has Functional Spin Attack

A Genshin Impact fan and cosplayer has created a hyper-realistic (and very large) Ruin Guard suit, complete with a real spinning attack.

TO Genshin Impact fan has impressed the fanbase with an impressive cosplay of one of the most iconic enemies in the game: the Ruin Guard. The world famous free-to-play MMORPG has taken the world by storm in recent years, with players regularly showing their affection for the title by creating hilarious Genshin Impact videos, fan art pieces, and of course awesome cosplay designs.

The huge open world of Genshin Impact is what most gamers will immediately associate with the game. The sprawling map contains a wide variety of majestic sights, lovable NPCs, and rare collectibles, all of which are expanded through the game’s live service items. However, along with these pleasurable experiences and unique landscapes, dangerous and antagonistic forces may exist. Among the most feared of these forces is the instantly recognizable Ruin Guard, an ancient piece of machinery that dwarfs the player character. The Ruin Guards have a number of special attacks and techniques at their disposal, but one of the most effective is the spin attack, in which they twist their torsos and swing their long arms around themselves, damaging anyone who gets too close. Despite this, it appears that at least one Genshin Impact fan is somewhat fond of these characters; Reddit user thomasacortez27 recently shared a video of a stunning Ruin Guard cosplay, complete with a rotating torso and flexible arms that approximate the signature spinning motion. The video also features a little boy, showing just how colossal this creation is in terms of size, which in turn makes it even more impressive.

What Genshin Impact continues to expand with updates and new content, it will be interesting to see how the cosplay community grows around it.
