‘One Piece’ episode 1014 will stream on Crunchyroll on April 16
Returning to its usual Saturday night time slot, One piece Episode 1014 will pick up where the anime left off a month ago. The official One piece The anime account announced through a Crunchyroll news post that on April 9, a rebroadcast special episode will air before the next official episode airs on April 16. In early March, Toei Animation announced that its internal systems were hacked, according to Crunchyroll. The compromised system forced the studio to shut down and pause all of its currently airing shows. Instead of new episodes like One piece Episode 1014, the timeslots where these shows would normally air were filled with rebroadcasts and TV specials. Anime News Network reported that the attack was caused by a ransomware attack. Fortunately, it seems that the animation studio is now in a more stable place.
Affected shows include One Piece, Digimon Ghost Game, Dragon Quest Dai’s Adventure, Y Yummy Pretty Cure Party. Also, the movie Dragon Ball Super: Superhero was delayed indefinitely from its scheduled April 22 release in Japan due to how the attack affected production.
